Thank you...

I made this card and gift card holder for our neighbors using a set from AI called A Bird's Song. We just had a bunch of snow, and they plowed our driveway for us, and I wanted to do something nice for them since they refused to let us pay them.

Swap cards...

I managed to get some swap spots done this weekend.....it's a different kind of swap....each month, someone is the hostess, and they send out identical kits to each group member...and each group members makes a card out of the kits...and sends one to everyone in their group. It's amazing to see how everyone makes such different cards out of the same supplies!

MFT- Think SPRING

This month's guest designer challenge for MFT is to think SPRING. When I think of spring, I think of pastels, colors, bunnies, and starting to get super busy around the house! Since we moved into our renovate house this past fall, when spring comes, we will be SUPER busy outside with landscaping, deck building, etc. So I included all this in this challenge:

1. I couldn't decide what Flopsey to use...so I used a lot of them, lol

2. I made up card kits so I can still participate in the challenges when I get busy with house work, so I can just grab a kit and create, and throw in some elements to fit the challenges!

3. Of course, I used spring inspired colors!

What a great challenge, this will def. help me for future challenges!

Zesty Italian Chicken....

One of my resolutions this year, is to cook at least once a week, and I've been doing well at keeping it. I actually have loved using my crockpot, and this is one of my favorite recipes that I have shared with others, and they have loved it also! I decided that this Penny Black stamp was perfect for the recipe and plan on giving this to one of my co-workers for her birthday...

Here's the recipe:

Zesty Italian Chicken

2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into pieces

16 oz bottle Italian dressing

¼ cup Parmesan Cheese

Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker and pour dressing over chicken, stir together gently

Sprinkle cheese on top

Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours

Serve over cooked rice along with extra sauce from the chicken

Enjoy!

Tall, Grande, or Venti?

Using a digi image from ISS, Tall Cup, I came up with this card. I was determined to not use nesties or scallops on this card b/c in looking at my gallery of cards, I use them on EVERY single card! I love this DP and I hoard it, so I thought this image was a perfect excuse to use it. Isn't this image perfect for coffee, tea, and/or cocoa lovers everywhere?
